Agriculture Science

Exploring Agriculture is a 9-week exploratory course that introduces students to the diverse and dynamic world of agriculture. Students explore the many facets of the agricultural industry, including food production, natural resources, animal science, plant science, agricultural technology, and environmental stewardship. Throughout the course, students gain an understanding of the vital role agriculture plays in our daily lives and in communities around the world.

Instruction includes a variety of engaging learning experiences, such as teacher-led lessons, note-taking, collaborative and independent projects, student presentations, and hands-on activities that bring agricultural concepts to life.

As part of the course, every student becomes a member of the National FFA Organization, providing opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore agricultural careers, and participate in activities that promote personal growth and career readiness.
