Matt Woodley

Principal

Mr. Woodley is honored to serve as the principal of North Forsyth Middle School. With over 18 years of administrative experience in Forsyth County Schools, he has held leadership roles at South Forsyth High School, South Forsyth Middle School, Riverwatch Middle School, and West Forsyth High School.

Before moving to Georgia, he began his educational career in Florida as a high school English and History teacher and coach. Passionate about fostering a supportive and high-achieving school culture, he is excited to lead the Wildcat community into another fabulous school year.

Rebecca Cahill

Assistant Principal
6th Grade

Dr. Becky Cahill is excited to join the Wildcats at North Forsyth Middle School. She brings 24 years of experience in Forsyth County Schools as a teacher, coach, and administrator at both the elementary and middle school levels. Dr. Cahill earned degrees from Auburn University, Austin Peay State University, and Kennesaw State University.

Dr. Cahill and her husband, Jim, a teacher and baseball coach at North Forsyth High School, are proud parents of five children who attend or graduated from Forsyth County Schools. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and attending her children’s sporting events.

Mary Garner

Assistant Principal
7th Grade

Mary Garner is excited to continue serving the students, families, and staff of North Forsyth Middle School. She began her career teaching high school mathematics at Lambert High School, followed by a move to East Jackson High School, and ultimately returned home to North Forsyth High School. There, she served as a mathematics teacher and department chair before transitioning into administration as an Assistant Administrator for two years.

She is married to Coach Andrew Garner, a physical education teacher at Silver City Elementary, and they have two sons, Jonah and Lucas. She is thrilled for another fantastic year with the Wildcat community.

Drew Ferrer

Assistant Principal
8th Grade

Mr.Ferrer is serving as an Assistant Principal at NFMS. He has served Forsyth County Schools for 25 years and was previously the Athletic Director at Lambert High School for 16 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Georgia, a master’s in Business Education, and Tier I Leadership Certification.

A proud Bulldog fan, he is part of an education-focused family. His wife teaches 6th grade enrichment at Lakeside Middle School, and his children have attended both Kennesaw State University and University of North Georgia.

Jen Wilson

Assistant Administrator

Jennifer Wilson has dedicated 28 years to education, teaching and leading at both the middle and high school levels. She earned degrees from The University of Alabama, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Northwestern State University, along with her Tier I Educational Leadership Certification through Georgia State University. Jennifer has taught AP U.S. History and Gifted Education and is passionate about helping students grow as leaders and critical thinkers.
