Matt Woodley
Principal
Mr. Woodley is honored to serve as the principal of North Forsyth Middle School. With over 17 years of administrative experience in Forsyth County Schools, he has held leadership roles at South Forsyth High School, South Forsyth Middle School, Riverwatch Middle School, and West Forsyth High School.
Before moving to Georgia, he began his educational career in Florida as a high school English and History teacher and coach. Passionate about fostering a supportive and high-achieving school culture, he is excited to lead the Wildcat community into another fabulous school year.
Rob Dugan
Assistant Principal
6th Grade
Mr. Rob Dugan brings 23 years of experience in education, having served as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Administrator at North Forsyth Middle School, professional learning leader, graduation coach, and classroom teacher. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a master’s degree from VanderCook College of Music, and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology with Tier II Leadership Certification from Kennesaw State University.
Mr. Dugan also serves as a Staff Sergeant in the Tennessee 129th Army National Guard Band. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, mountain biking, playing guitar, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Michele, have two sons who attend Forsyth County Schools.
Mary Garner
Assistant Principal
7th Grade
Mary Garner is excited to continue serving the students, families, and staff of North Forsyth Middle School. She began her career teaching high school mathematics at Lambert High School, followed by a move to East Jackson High School, and ultimately returned home to North Forsyth High School. There, she served as a mathematics teacher and department chair before transitioning into administration as an Assistant Administrator for two years.
She is married to Coach Andrew Garner, a physical education teacher at Silver City Elementary, and they have two sons, Jonah and Lucas. She is thrilled for another fantastic year with the Wildcat community.
Drew Ferrer
Assistant Administrator
8th Grade
Mr.Ferrer has served Forsyth County Schools for 24 years and is currently the Athletic Director at Lambert High School, a role he has held for 16 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Georgia, a master’s in Business Education, and Tier I Leadership Certification.
A proud Bulldog fan, he is part of an education-focused family—his wife teaches 6th grade enrichment at Lakeside Middle, his daughter is graduating from Kennesaw State with a Nursing degree, and his son attends the University of North Georgia’s Oconee campus.
