Meet Mrs. Treece, Media Specialist

A woman with glasses and curly hair sits on a stack of large books while reading a smaller blue book against a plain white background.

Ms. Treece

Hi Wildcat Family!  I am Billie Treece, the proud Media Specialist of North Middle!

I am a graduate of the University of South Florida, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with certification in Media Studies, as well as a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I am currently pursuing an Ed.S. in Learning Design and Educational Technology with a concentration in School Librarianship. I taught in the elementary setting for over 25 years.  I am so excited to be able to share my love of reading with students within the Media Center. The library is the HEART OF THE SCHOOL and I can't wait for students to think, discover, and imagine! When I am not in the library you can find me with my family: Kelly (7th grade teacher at North Middle), Emma (Senior at Valdosta State University), and Jack (Freshman at Kennesaw State University). We love to visit Disney, go on road trips and of course, READ!
