Polices and Procedures:  

 

 

 Borrowing books:

 

•   Students may check out 2 books at a time. 

•   Books are due in 2 weeks.

•   Students may renew a book once.

 

Overdues:

Students whose accounts show overdue materials may not check out anything until the account is reconciled either by returning the overdue materials or paying for the lost item(s). A full refund will be given if an item is returned within 30 days after it has been paid for. Overdue slips are printed and distributed during PRIDE.

 

Program: 

The NFMS digital citizenship program is taught in conjunction with classroom research/projects. At each grade level specific research skills are matched with grade level curricula. Some lessons and units are taught whole-group in the MC Learning Commons, some small-group in the media center, some in the classroom, and some in the computer labs, etc.

 

The MC Learning Commons operates on a flexible schedule, in order to service the highest number of patrons possible.
